Vow Renewal at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens in Crestwood, Kentucky

In August I got to photograph the most precious vow renewal. Chris and Tara have been married ten years now and decided to throw a celebration with a “re-do” of their wedding day. Their children joined them as well as other families and friends. It was a bright, sunny day and filled with so much joy!

a few things I loved about the day:

— How much fun the couple's kids & the guest's kids had!

— there was ice cream from Liege & Dairy , yum!

— the wildflowers . . . Pure Pollen Flowers did a wonderful job as always

— the couple's sweet handwritten vows

— a cardinal bird AND a hummingbird showed up during the ceremony! @Yew Dell Botanical Gardens is such a beautiful venue for an outdoor ceremony.

— the fact that the family got ready together at their home.

— The bride’s beautiful blush dress from Modern Trousseau!

— all the times their littlest kiddo ran up to hug his mama

& all the yummy food (including guac) from The Mayan Cafe!
